Always available at Brookgreen are: The Trekker - This is Brookgreen's custom all-terrain vehicle. Choose from two different and very unique excursions to two significant historical sites. Daily 11 a.m. and 12 noon.
The
Springfield - Climb aboard a pontoon boat and glide through
creeks once traveled by Native Americans, rice planters and slaves.
View long abandoned rice fields and sneak a peek at alligators,
osprey and other native animals. Hourly from 11 a.m. to
3 p.m.
New Aviaries are now open. Five new enclosures featuring "birds of prey" will allow visitors to see these spectacular birds at close range while offering both birds and humans an increased measure of safety.

The Cypress Inn TeaRoom
Come and enjoy a Southern Afternoon Tea featuring Harney & Sons Tea, a variety of tea sandwiches, scones, lemon curd, james, sweets and savories. Seatings the second and fourth Sunday of each month, 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Reservations required. Cost is $20/person. Call 843-248-8199. The only tea room in the Myrtle Beach area.
The
area has some wonderful theaters. Plan a night at The Cypress
Inn around one of the many productions. Conway is home to
the Theatre of the
Republic which produces wonderful community theatre.
